ALL TERRAIN V2C | VEHICLE-TO-CARAVAN CONVERSIONS
YOUR EV POWERS
MORE THAN
JUST YOUR DRIVE.
Cook electric. Camp smarter. Make more of the power already in your vehicle.
Convert your conventional, gas-equipped caravan for suitable induction cooking, 240V refrigeration and microwave use with a compatible V2L-equipped EV, EREV or PHEV.
LESS RELIANCE ON GAS & GENERATORS. MORE POSSIBILITIES AT CAMP.
FROM GAS TO EV-READY
YOUR CARAVAN.
REIMAGINED FOR THE EV ERA.
Keep the caravan you enjoy. Modernise the way you cook and power everyday appliances. We help you plan a conversion around your vehicle, your caravan and the way you actually travel.
Induction cooking
Explore replacing gas cooking with a suitable induction cooktop. Appliance selection and power settings are matched to the available supply, not just the space on your benchtop.
240V refrigeration
Consider an electric fridge as part of your conversion. We plan for continuous refrigeration, travel days and what happens when your vehicle is disconnected.
Microwaves & more
Make room for practical electric appliances at camp. Their combined demand and starting loads need to stay within your vehicle and caravan system limits.

USE THE TECHNOLOGY YOU ALREADY HAVE
A SMARTER POWER PLAN.
NOT JUST A BIGGER BATTERY.
Vehicle-to-load (V2L) lets compatible vehicles supply AC power for external equipment. For a suitable setup, this can reduce the need for a large additional caravan battery bank and standalone inverter.
It is not a blanket replacement for every onboard system. Essential 12V equipment, refrigeration while disconnected and your vehicle’s driving reserve still need a practical plan.
The starting point is checking what your specific vehicle permits. V2L availability, output and connection requirements vary by model and variant.
CONVERSION, NOT JUST AN ADAPTOR
BUILT AROUND YOUR SETUP.
Assess your vehicle
Confirm V2L support, manufacturer instructions, output limits and whether the intended caravan connection is permitted and suitable.
Plan your caravan
Review existing wiring, protection, appliances and gas equipment. Decide what changes, what stays and how you will manage electrical loads.
Convert & hand over
Agree the scope before work begins, with electrical work by appropriately licensed trades and any gas alterations by a licensed gasfitter. Required testing and certification form part of the work.
A V2L socket is not automatically suitable for feeding a caravan inlet. Connection arrangements, earthing and electrical protection must be assessed for the actual equipment. No improvised connections or backfeeding. Read Energy Safe Victoria’s advice on working with licensed trades.
BEFORE YOU MAKE THE SWITCH
A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS.
Does every EV or hybrid support this?
No. Being electric, plug-in hybrid or range-extended does not automatically mean V2L is fitted. We need your exact make, model, year and variant to assess the options.
Can I remove all the gas?
Potentially, depending on your caravan and intended use. Cooking, hot water and heating each need to be considered. You can also discuss a staged conversion rather than changing everything at once.
Can everything run together?
Not necessarily. Cooking, heating and other appliances can compete for the same limited output. We plan around realistic loads, vehicle battery reserve and alternatives when your vehicle is away.
