Our Mission & Story
All Terrain Action was built on passion, adventure and the belief that off-road exploration should be for everyone. From showcasing unconventional vehicles to creating practical solutions that keep people connected with everyday technology, our story is about pushing comfort boundaries and bringing people together through exploration and adventure. We embrace the freedom to work from anywhere, travel further, and stay connected proving that adventure and technology can move hand in hand for those who seek it.

All Terrain Action brand was founded in 2018 as a YouTube channel, beginning as an automotive off-road community focused around an all-wheel-drive Holden Adventra.
What started as a passion project with Chris and his very close circle of family and friends slowly gained momentum, showcasing how a unqiue vehicle like the Adventra could inspire a loyal following and spark a culture of community.
From 2021 onward, the channel expanded beyond its Adventra roots, turning its attention to unusual and often overlooked four-wheel drive vehicles, particularly those that relied on advanced off-road traction control systems as their main tool for tackling rough terrain. By highlighting vehicles that many dismissed, we built a niche around the Adventra and showing that true off-road exploration is as much about understanding technology and systems as it is about raw skill and capability.
After conquering all the iconic Victorian High Country 4WD tracks and many other well known 4WD tracks within the realm of Victoria, Chris’s focus shifted from simply documenting adventures to educating and inspiring others. The message was clear, if an Adventra can do it the most modern and modest four-wheel drive, equipped with nothing more than factory systems and good tyres, could carry its owners to the places they had long heard about and dreamed of visiting.
By 2022, Chris produced content highlighting unusual and overlooked vehicles, particularly those relying on advanced traction control and modern driver-assist technologies. This perspective resonated with families and newcomers who might have felt out of place in a world dominated by expensive lifted vehicles and heavily modified builds. Chris demonstrated, through real-world adventures, that knowledge, preparation, and confidence in your vehicle’s systems makes up a high portion of if a vehicle can or cant navigate some technical off-road tracks.

By 2023, All Terrain Action had grown far beyond its origins as just a YouTube channel. Live streaming over Starlink and managing office work while traveling revealed a clear opportunity, there was strong demand for in-motion connectivity solutions. Chris recognised that making Starlink practical without relying on bulky inverters could open doors for others living a similar lifestyle.
This was the turning point where his personal hobby merged with his professional expertise in IT. Having long observed the challenges fellow travelers and business owners faced in staying connected on the move, he began developing custom vehicle and van mounted aftermarket Starlink mounting and 12V solutions.
These solutions bridged the gap between remote adventure and reliable communication, succeeding in places where alternatives like Cel-Fi simply fell short in Australia’s most isolated regions.
In 2024, growing demand pushed All Terrain Action beyond its humble backyard workshop roots into a more commercial operation adding in walk in retail and workshop custom fabrication presence. This evolution coincided with our move into fitting fleet and commercial vehicles with roof-mounted Starlink systems, establishing us at the forefront of mobile connectivity solutions.
At the same time, we stayed true to our content creation origins. Chris began exploring the rise of new-energy off-road vehicles, launching coverage with the BYD All Terrain Shark on All Terrain Action EV. By being among the first to spotlight this shift, we embraced the innovations of emerging Chinese vehicle manufacturers and their impact on reshaping the future of Australia’s vehicle industry.
It was during this chapter that Chris crossed paths with Byron from Savage Offroad, marking the beginning of a new collaboration for aftermarket products in the new energy vehicle industry.

By late 2025, it had become clear what began as a passion for exploration had evolved into engineering, manufacturing, software development, media and real-world vehicle innovation. To support that vision, we expanded with an additional 400sqm workshop, creating the foundation for the next chapter of All Terrain.
From that expansion came a unified identity, a place where every All Terrain project, product and idea connects. Today, All Terrain operates as a central innovation hub, bringing together aftermarket engineering, new-energy vehicle development, digital technology, content creation and product research under one forward-thinking vision. More than a business, it represents a commitment to solving problems the industry hasn’t yet answered.
Since then, we’ve welcomed more than 4,000 customers from every corner of Australia to our workshop. Whether it’s pioneering aftermarket solutions for new-energy vehicles, advanced connectivity, off-road technology or custom engineering, our focus has remained the same: challenge convention, build what doesn’t exist, and put Australian consumers first.
We don’t simply follow the market, we help shape where it’s heading.
We are All Terrain Action.
